On March 20th, the class will be “A New Beginning: How to begin the search for you immigrant ancestor.” It will be held from 10:30-12 in the lower level of the Haggard Library in the Bland Meeting Room.
On April 3rd, the class will be “Creation of Collin County: Find out how the Peter’s Colony arrived in Texas and how Collin County was carved from Fannin County”. The class will be presented by Randy Farmer. He is the author of “From Blackland Prairie to Blacktop : a History of Collin County”. By the way, Collin County began on April 3, 1846.
