GLHTA will be hosting a Genealogy Lock-In on March 2, 2012. We will offer classes on the topics of DNA, Newspaper Research, Legacy Software, National Archives, Immigration Research, Civil War Database, and FamilySearch.org. We will have heritage groups, societies, and other organizations available to discuss what they can offer in Genealogy Research. We will provide one-on-one assistance in your research and assistance in the databases available through GLHTA. There will be time for you to access the books and the Internet. Food will be provided during a break.
The Lock-In will be from 6-11pm. It will be free but you will need to register. Watch for more information in December and January at www.planolibrary.org. We hope to see you there.
